Put Some Spice In Your Holidays!
                      December 2013 Edition
Seasoned Greetings Sunny,
As a warm up to the Christmas Holidays, this weekend Main Street in Road Town, Tortola will come alive with the 14th Annual Cultural event dubbed Christmas on Main Street.

Visitors and locals alike enjoy an array of local foods, traditional festive music and other forms of entertainment while visiting the cultural stands and food stalls that fill Main Street. Featured are local arts & craft and plenty of traditional BVI Christmas drinks such as Guavaberry and mouth watering food such as Johnny cakes, black cakes & tarts.  This is also a testament to how the holidays are celebrated in the BVI.

It will not be Christmas in the BVI without Guavaberry (seen above).

Traditionally this berry was mainly used to make Guavaberry Wine.  Now Guavaberry lovers can enjoy Guavaberry Juice (non-alcoholic), Guavaberry Tarts and even Guavaberry Cheesecakes.

A Family's Jerk Tradition

"Sunny Caribbee's Jerk Seasoning has become part of my family's must have items. I have made jerk chicken for many years and feature it at my family's annual crab feast. Our family and friends have grown to expect it."

"This year, on October 5th, we held our 10th annual crab feast and the Sunny Caribbee jerk chicken has been served at every one! I use both the 'mild' and 'hot' jerk seasoning. With a good rub on some chicken legs and thighs the night before and just the right heat on the BBQ the next day, the jerk chicken is awesome! It is a great compliment to the crabs and is loved by all. Thanks Sunny Caribbee!"
